Proud Moment for Godsell Arnold Partnership
ICE South West recognises Godsell Arnold Partnership Limited apprentice Florence Hudson as award finalist.

Florence Hudson of Godsell Arnold Partnership Ltd. has been named as a finalist in the South West’s leading infrastructure awards, celebrating talented early career civil engineers across the region.
Florence Hudson – Trainee Civil Engineer is in the running for the Apprentice of the Year Award at the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) South West Civil Engineering Awards 2026 in association with Griffiths.
The award, sponsored by Tony Gee and Partners, recognises the achievements of ICE South West graduate members and celebrates emerging talent shaping the future of regional infrastructure.
I am thrilled to be shortlisted and very grateful for the opportunity. I am looking forward to the next stage and the awards evening.
Florence Hudson was shortlisted from a highly competitive field of nominations, reviewed by members of the ICE South West regional committee alongside ICE Fellows, to arrive at a final shortlist of just four.
Finalists were selected after demonstrating a clear and positive impact on the profession, alongside strong evidence of professionalism, integrity, and innovation in their work. They also showed how they inspire and motivate others, promote civil engineering beyond the industry, and contribute to a culture of fairness, inclusion, and sustainability. This includes voluntary activity to engage young people and the wider public with civil engineering.
Miranda Housden, regional director, ICE South West said: “These awards highlight how the South West is building for the future by investing in the new talent our industry needs to thrive.
“Our finalists represent the very best of emerging civil engineers, and they should be incredibly proud of the impact they are already making across the region.”
Florence comments, “I am thrilled to be shortlisted and very grateful for the opportunity. I am looking forward to the next stage and the awards evening.”
Jayes Rana, Managing Director at Godsell Arnold comments, "We couldn’t be prouder to see Florence recognised alongside the very best emerging engineers in the region."
