Ian is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, with over four decades of experience in the water industry. He spent 18 years in direct employment within the sector, followed by 24 years in consultancy roles, where he has specialised in engineering works related to water infrastructure.

Since joining the team 11 years ago, Ian has brought a wealth of specialist knowledge, particularly in civil engineering design and project delivery within regulated environments.

Outside of work, Ian is a self-confessed petrol head and proud owner of a classic TVR Griffith Pre-Cat. He also enjoys yacht sailing and racing, along with snowboarding and skiing during the winter months.
